This oft-climbed hill is a rite of passage for cyclists, no matter what form of cycling you’re into – from leisure riders to amateur racers to those who travel & explore the world on their bikes… and everyone in between. This ride is ideal for those who’ve been doing some easier rides and want to take it up a notch or two… or if you’re practicing your climbs for our other more difficult adventures that are coming up.
The ride has 2 loops – a 40 km loop (includes the climb up Nandi Hills) and a 20 km loop (to Jakkalamagadu dam and through the surrounding forest). One group of riders who want to do a shorter ride or head back early will do the 40 km loop and the second group will do both loops (60 km).
Starting point: Ground Zero Cafe ( https://goo.gl/maps/LEjeszDXTPSoyXB1A )
All participants should carry at least one bottle of water each and a small backpack to carry some refreshments and personal belongings. Those who bring their own bikes will have to bring a helmet too.
